![]() Organizations who are not eligible to recruit may not formally or informally host events designed to recruit members, formally or informally extend invitations to join the organization, ask students to defer participating in another recruitment process, or initiate new members. Eligibility to participate in recruitment activities may be conditioned on supervision or other contingencies. Organizations who are eligible may participate in recruitment activities, host recruitment events, extend invitations to join organizations, and initiate new members. Participation in recruitment describes whether or not the organization is currently approved to recruit new members for the upcoming recruitment cycle. If recognition is permanently revoked, a student organization is not permitted to return to recognized status at any time, in any capacity. Revocation of Recognition: Revocation of recognition is the permanent termination of the University's recognition of a student organization.See the Student Conduct Resolution Procedure for more information about suspension. ![]() While a student organization is suspended, it may not exercise any of the benefits of recognition, including the use of University facilities, the use of the University's name or logo, the use of the University's electronic resources (including web hosting), access to University funds or banking, bulletin board and room reservations, etc. Suspension: Suspension of student organization recognition is the temporary termination of the University's recognition of a student organization.Organizations on disciplinary probation are permitted to conduct operations as usual unless additional modifications to operating status are made in the chapter outcome letter. Violations of the terms of Disciplinary Probation, which are specified in the chapter’s outcome letter, or any new violations of University policy while the chapter is on probation may result in the revocation of the organization’s recognition.
